U.S Apprenticeship Program

The skill gap of the U.S. Manufacturing industry is widening, and skilled workers are in high demand. Over the next decade, it is estimated that 3.8 million manufacturing jobs will need to be filled with individuals who possess the field knowledge and experience required to succeed.

Apprenticeships at Barnes Aerospace provide opportunities for individuals to “earn while they learn,” and develop technical knowledge and skills for today’s dynamic manufacturing industry. We train apprentices in numerous fields, including machining, maintenance, inspection, welding, and administration. An apprenticeship typically lasts for 2 to 4 years.

The recruitment process begins in the spring, and most apprentices are hired in the summer.
